Terms and Conditions for TIG ON TOUR
1. Introduction 1.1. Welcome to TIG on Tour (the "Competition") to be held in various gyms in 2026 and 2027. By registering for or participating in the Competition, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. 1.2.These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the UK and conditions apply to all participants, organizers, sponsors, and affiliates of the Competition.
2. Eligibility 2.1. Participants must be 18 years or older to compete. 2.2. All participants must complete the registration form via Circle 21. 2.3. Participants are required to be in good health and physically capable of participating in the events of the Competition. Proof of health and fitness, such as a medical certificate, may be required.
3. Event Format 3.1. The Competition will consist of a number of workouts, across the day, such as running, lifting, carrying, pulling and pushing designed to test overall fitness. 3.2. Participants confirm they are aware that the activity in which they desire to participate is extremely strenuous and may push them to the limits of their physical abilities. 3.3Event details, schedules, and rules will be provided to participants upon registration and are subject to change at the discretion of the organizers.
4. Safety and Conduct 4.1. Safety is a priority. All participants must follow the instructions of event officials and adhere to safety guidelines at all times. 4.2. Participants must compete with integrity, respect fellow competitors, and avoid any behavior that may endanger others. 4.3. Any form of cheating, unsportsmanlike conduct, or failure to comply with event rules may result in disqualification. The organizers reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to disqualify any participant whose behavior is deemed unsafe, disruptive, or in violation of these terms and conditions. A disqualified participant will be required to leave the event premises immediately and will not be entitled to any refund of registration fees.
5. Liability 5.1. By participating in TIG on Tour (the "Competition"), participants acknowledge and voluntarily assume all risks associated with functional fitness activities, including but not limited to injury, illness, permanent disability, or death. Participants understand that the Competition involves strenuous physical exertion and inherent dangers.
5.2. The organizers, sponsors, affiliates, and event officials shall not be held liable for any personal injury, illness, loss, damage, or death incurred as a result of participation in the Competition.
5.3. Participants are solely responsible for ensuring they are physically and medically fit to participate. Organizers make no representations or warranties regarding the safety of the Competition. It is strongly advised that participants seek medical clearance before competing.
5.4. Participants agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the organizers, sponsors, partners, and venue operators from any claims, liabilities, damages, or costs arising out of or related to their participation, including claims from third parties.
5.5. Organizers accept no liability for loss or damage to personal property of participants during the Competition.
5.6. The organizers are only responsible for their facilities and staff. Any claims arising from incidents at third-party venues (such as competition grounds, training facilities, or accommodation providers) shall be directed to the respective venue operator.
5.7. The organizers reserve the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the event in the case of force majeure, including but not limited to adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, pandemics, government-imposed restrictions, or security threats. In such cases, the organizers shall not be liable for any costs incurred by participants, including travel and accommodation expenses.
6. Travel and Accommodation 7.1. Participants are responsible for their own travel arrangements to and from the location. 7.2. The organizers are not responsible for any travel disruptions or additional expenses incurred.
7. Prizes 8.1. Prizes will be awarded during the competition. 8.2. The nature and value of the prizes will be determined by the organizers and are subject to change. 8.3. Prizes are non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash or other items.
8. Photography and Media 9.1. By participating, participants grant the organizers the right to use any photographs, video recordings, or other media of the event for promotional purposes. 9.2. Participants may be featured in media coverage, and consent to the use of their likeness in such content.
9. Partner Brands 10.1 By registering, participants grant the organizers the right to share participant details with partner brands supporting TIG on Tour & The Island Games. All personal data will be processed securely and retained only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, in accordance with the organizers' privacy policy.
10. Participants have the right to:

Request correction or deletion of their data.

Object to or restrict the processing of their data.

Lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection authority if they believe their data has been mishandled.
11. Cancellation and Changes 11.1. The organizers reserve the right to cancel or modify the Competition for any reason, including but not limited to required permits from authorities, government restrictions, weather conditions, safety concerns, litigation, Force Majeure or unforeseen circumstances. 11.2. In the event of cancellation, participants will be notified as soon as possible and any registration fees may be refunded at the discretion of the organizers.
12. Dispute Resolution 12.1. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with the Competition will be resolved through amicable negotiations. 12.2. If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute will be dealt with as per the laws of the UK.
13. Acknowledgment 13.1. By registering for the Competition, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
14. Refunds 14.1. If the participants can no longer make the event, refunds are not possible, but the ticket can be transferred to another participant.
